I track our demise with proof from studies and graphs,
But reason drowns in deniers’ cackling laughs.
They falsely refute what’s recorded and true,
While deserts expand where lush forests once grew.
Charts of warming stripes scream in fevered hues,
As supercharged storms fill the nightly news.
Engines of industry roar; mass production lines speed,
In pursuit of endless profit and insatiable greed.
The songbird’s ghost haunts polluted, lifeless skies,
Replaced by buzzing drones and corporate lies.
“Just one more deal,” the boardrooms roar,
As rising oceans gnaw the collapsing shore.
Tipping points breached, slipping beyond our control,
Still we march onward, a robot void of any soul.
“Markets are soaring!” they crow, elated—
As environmental laws slashed, degraded.
Choking on plastic, the recycling farce has worn thin—
It was never a solution, just PR tying you in.
CEOs grin, buying their doomsday bunker estate—
“A backup plan for man’s looming expiration date!”
The gears grind on, relentless and cold—
A system where life is bought and sold.
Our blood, sweat, and sanity are the clockwork’s oil,
A pound of flesh taken, while we struggle and toil.
What good are facts when truth is twisted, blurred?
When every cry is deemed alarmist, “absurd”?
We’ll drown in our waste, swearing it necessary and grand,
A funeral pyre built by our own self-destructive hand.

Yes, of course, capitalism is a 100% scam. The system is quickly running out of new technological innovations. Technology is not rapidly “progressing”. The newer consumer products are even more unsustainable and more scammy than the older ones. Believing in technological “progress” is pure stupidity. The truth is technology is getting worse and worse.
Needless to say, this human species is becoming extinct soon enough. NTHE is 100% guranateed to happen. Industrial society is already rapidly disintergrating and shrinking.
